Every child’s birth is, of course, a miracle. It’s an unusual event, not least for the delighted parents.
However, some births are a little more distinct than others.
This couple has always wanted a family. They realized shortly after their marriage that they would soon become parents. They never imagined that their pregnancy would be a unique experience.
Bethani and Tim Webb met in Hythe, Alberta, two years before their wedding in June 2015. Only three months later, Bethani became pregnant, and the couple went to the hospital for a normal scan.

However, when the nurse viewed the image on the ultrasound, neither she nor the prospective parents could believe their eyes. The couple’s expectations were exceeded: Bethani was carrying four identical daughters. The chances of a thing happening are 1 in 15 million.

“I couldn’t believe it; I was so shocked. Honestly, I assumed the ultrasound technician was kidding. “I couldn’t believe it,” Bethani told CBS News.
Bethani gave birth by C-section at 33 weeks in June 2016 to four healthy girls named Abigail, McKayla, Grace, and Emily. There is no family history of multiples, and the children were conceived spontaneously rather than through test tube fertilization, as is common with twins and triplets.
The couple has struggled to distinguish between their identical children. To solve the dilemma, they had to paint their toenails in different colors to notice the difference!
Caring for a baby isn’t always easy, but when you suddenly have four, handling the day-to-day responsibilities needs some wonderful talents. For example, the couple’s kids go through 48 diapers every day!
The girls have been moved out of the NICU and into a large crib on the pediatrics level. This is the final step before they head home!

It’s also so pricey that the couple has had to rely on contributions to help sustain their family. Every week, volunteers come to their house to help them, and thanks to a community fundraiser, the couple was able to purchase a larger automobile to accommodate the entire family.
“It’s really wonderful, because there would be no way we could do this by ourselves,” Bethani tells me.
Thank you, Ami Marie Photography, for the family photos!

Despite the occasional difficulties, the pair considers themselves quite fortunate.
Now the family lives with Tim’s mother, who adores her gorgeous grandchildren!
