mber Heard has spoken out about becoming a mother ‘on her own terms’ amidst the ‘completeness of the family’ she has strived to establish for years.’

Yesterday (May 11), Heard resorted to social media to announce the birth of twins.

The 39-year-old Aquaman actor is already a mother to Oonagh Paige, whom she welcomed on April 8, 2021, and has previously spoken about when she ‘knew [she] wanted to have a kid’ and being a mother on her ‘own terms.’

In an Instagram post, she uploaded a snapshot of the infants’ feet with the message, “Mother’s Day 2025 will be one I’ll never forget.”

“This year, I am elated beyond words to celebrate the completion of a family I’ve strived to build for years.”

She went further: “Today I officially share the news that I welcomed twins into the Heard gang.”

The message went on to reveal the names of her twins, saying, “My daughter Agnes and my son Ocean keep my hands (and my heart) full.

“When I had my first baby girl, Oonagh, four years ago, my life changed forever. I thought I couldn’t possibly feel much happier. Now, I’m bursting three times!

“Becoming a mother, despite my own reproductive issues, was the most humbling experience of my life.” I am immensely glad that I was able to make this decision properly and wisely.

“To all the mothers, wherever you are today and however you arrived, my dream family and I are celebrating with you. Love, always. A x.”

Indeed, Heard gave birth to her first kid, Oonagh Paige, through surrogacy four years ago.

During the announcement of her first kid via surrogate in 2021, the star stated in an Instagram post that four years previously, she ‘determined [she] wanted to have a child.’

She said, “I wanted to do it on my terms. I now see how radical it is for us as women to consider one of the most essential aspects of our destinies in this manner. I hope we get to the moment when it’s acceptable to not desire a ring to have a crib.

“A part of me wants to insist that my private life is no one’s business. I also understand that the nature of my profession requires me to take control of this.

Heard has kept much of her family life secret, although she has revealed peeks via social media.

Heard also celebrated her eldest daughter’s first birthday, tweeting, “My little O is one year old today. I still cannot believe you are here.” The best year.”

She also mentioned Oonagh during her trial with her ex-partner, Johnny Depp.

During the slander trial on May 17, 2022, Heard testified, “I want to move on with my life.” I have a baby. I need to move on. I want to move on, and I hope Johnny does as well.”

After the trial concluded, Heard told the Today show that she was eager to ‘get to be a parent’ ‘full-time’ again.

“Where I’m not having to juggle calls with lawyers,” she explained.

Savannah Guthrie of Today answered by asking what Heard plans to tell her daughter about the trial when she grows up.
