During a live orchestra performance at the 52nd annual Istanbul Music Festival, an inquisitive kitten came up on stage with no care in the world—and of course, that was all everyone could think about.

In a video published on social media by numerous news agencies, including @abcnews on TikTok, we see the gray and white cat enter the stage, as if pulled in by the funny music being played.

Then it practically catwalks across the stage, unfazed from start to finish.

Above all, as many viewers noted, this is a frequent sight in Istanbul, which, like many Muslim nations, has a soft spot for cats. According to Catster, cats do not have owners. Instead, they are cared for by the whole community throughout the city, from tea cafes to ferries to public transportation and more. Istanbul even provides medical treatment to its stray cats, including spaying and neutering, emergency care, and a mobile vet bus. It’s pretty much cat heaven over there.
