Few actors are more legendary than Chuck Norris, especially when it comes to stunts, martial arts, and all-around badass flicks.
The 82-year-old Oklahoma native has appeared in around 40 films throughout the years, and his big break came quite early in his acting career.
Chuck had two long-term marriages; his second is still going strong today. Furthermore, he is a devoted father of five children.

He just delivered some unpleasant news about his wife’s health.
Let us take a deeper look at Chuck Norris’ career and life.
Chuck Norris was born on March 10, 1940, in Ryan, Oklahoma. The oldest of three sons once described himself as “the shy kid who never excelled at anything in school.”
However, Norris’ childhood was chaotic. Chuck’s father was a heavy drinker, and when he was just 10, he vanished, leaving his mother, Wilma, alone.
She raised Chuck and his two brothers alone, but by the time Chuck Norris was 15, the family had relocated 16 times. Eventually, they settled in California.
Wilma now made it her mission to accompany Chuck and his brothers, Wieland and Arron, wherever they lived. As a result, Norris developed a strong bond with them.

Chuck attended North Torrance High School, but by 14, he had begun to take on more responsibilities at home. In addition to education, he assisted his mother in caring for his brothers while she worked.
Baptist Press quoted him as saying, “She loves with all of her heart and soul and made sure we understood that [growing up].”
“She inspired me spiritually and instilled in me a feeling of duty that lasted into my later adult life; she often told me that she ‘has plans for you,’ but I had no idea what she meant.
Chuck and Dianne Holechek, his high school love, married in 1958. However, we will return to that topic shortly.
