Many people like getting body modifications, such as tattoos, to show their individuality. However, some people are utterly opposed to these kinds of activities. Kerstin Tristan was one of the latter until 2015, when a single occurrence altered her opinion permanently.

56-year-old Kerstin Tristan is a mom and grandma. However, her activities deviate slightly from what may be called “typical” for a grandmother. She likes body modification art, particularly tattoos.

She now has tattoos all over her body, and she had to spend a lot of money to get to this stage. However, she did not always enjoy tattoos as much. In fact, she admitted that she despised tattoos until 2015. What made her alter her opinion about them? It was the same year she received her first one, which radically changed her perspective on the practice.

“I just wanted to try something new. We only live once, and I felt that at my age, something meaningful had to happen,” she explained.

Since 2015, she has spent 30,000 euros (about $32,000) alone on tattoos to change her physique. Fortunately, her acts have garnered a great deal of attention and love.

Her Instagram account has over 190,000 followers, and her TikTok videos receive millions of views.

She is not afraid to show off her appearance! She uses Instagram to show off her complete physique. But she didn’t always look this way; barely a decade ago, she had no tattoos and looked radically different. She occasionally provides comparison images so that people may notice the dramatic difference.

The German-based influencer has colorful rose tattoos on her thighs, a leopard print tattoo on her shoulders, and multiple intricate portraits on her arms. These tattoos are only a few of the many that cover her whole body.

She is pleased with her current appearance, adding, “When I look at myself in the mirror, I see a beautiful meadow full of flowers that one has to love.”

And she is not the only one who admires her appearance; one fan said, “A beautiful work of art.” Another user said, “Wow, stunning photo.”
