These sliced baked potatoes are prepared using the Hassleback method. This indicates that they have not yet been cooked. They are cut vertically from the top to the bottom. They are then roasted until golden brown. This is utter beauty on a platter. Potatoes are an excellent accompaniment to any beef entrée. A single potato may be cooked in several ways.
Ingredients:
I used four medium russet potatoes.
14 teaspoons salt, 18 teaspoons pepper
18 teaspoons of cayenne pepper
18 teaspoons of garlic
18 teaspoons of paprika
4 to 6 tablespoons of olive oil

How to Make Baked Sliced Potatoes:
VERY FIRST STEP:
The potatoes should be washed and dried.
Slice the potato only halfway down, side by side. (For a crispier potato, cut the slices at an angle.)
THE SECOND STEP:
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Combine all of the seasonings.
THE THIRD STEP:
Spritz the potatoes well with olive oil.
Evenly distribute the spice mixture over the potatoes.
THE FOURTH STEP:
Place the potatoes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
40 to 45 minutes in the oven
