Julia Roberts and her husband Danny Moder were among the fashionable celebs that attended Wimbledon, one of the year’s most star-studded sporting events in the United Kingdom.

On Sunday, June 14, the 56-year-old Pretty Woman actress published an Instagram photo revealing how she and the cinematographer dressed for the tennis game in England.

Roberts appears in the shot wearing a sporty red-and-white Gucci collared dress, which she teamed with dark black sunglasses and an orange Gucci handbag.

She stood with her arm linked to Moder, 55, who wore a dark blue suit, sunglasses, and a striped blue tie. The pair also posed with Gay Cobham, a martial artist (and Roberts’ security guard), dressed in a gray plaid suit with sunglasses and a bright red tie.

“An incredible day at Wimbledon!” Roberts captioned the photo with tennis balls and heart emoticons.

Roberts and Moder celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary earlier this month, on July 4th. On that day, the actress shared a touching Instagram post celebrating their marriage, which featured a snapshot of the pair enjoying an intimate kiss.

In the flashback shot, the Leave the World Behind singer donned a spaghetti-strap black dress, while her spouse sported a black suit, striped shirt, and patterned tie.

The two first met on the set of their 2001 film, The Mexican, when Moder was a cameraman. They married exactly one year later, on July 4, 2002, in a simple ceremony. They had three children: boys Henry and Phinnaeus, and a daughter Hazel.

Although the couple keeps much of their relationship quiet, the Oscar winner recently revealed how important Moder is to her and her children during an interview on the Today program, calling him the “anchor” of their family.

“It all starts with Danny Moder,” she stated during the December 2023 interview. “He is our person and, in the most beautiful way, the captain of our ship.”

She stated, “For me, realizing the depth of life began with him.”

During an interview with CBS Sunday Morning anchor Jane Pauley in 2022, Roberts revealed that she and Moder had exchanged letters to each other throughout the years and that she had even saved one in particular.

“I have the first letter he ever wrote me,” she informed Pauley. “And one day, I’ll show it to Hazel and say, ‘That’s what you’re looking for.'”

“This is the life I have built with my spouse.” We have forged a life together with our children. That’s the finest stuff,” Roberts concluded, calling her family a “dream come true.”
