Kurt Russell proved to be a loyal lover and an amazing stepfather to Goldie Hawn’s children on her third try. Russell altered the game by becoming all she needed after two disastrous marriages.
His bond with Hawn’s children, Kate and Oliver, is admirable. He accepted them and has since functioned as their father after deciding to permanently remain in their mother’s life.
Russell has a good friendship with the younger Hudson and has shown care for her children. Kate has previously honored Russell’s birthday on Father’s Day. In 2021, she posted a photo of herself resting over Pa, with one of the actor’s arms around her neck.
Following that came a detailed description of Russell’s function as the family patriarch, to which Hawn concurred in the comments section. Kate portrayed him in the loveliest terms, referring to him as a “loyal protector,” “dependable,” and an “untamed adventurer father.”

Although Kate has a positive connection with her stepfather, the same cannot be said for her relationship with her actual father, Bill Hudson. Despite her gratitude for her family, especially Russell, the actress said that her inability to connect with Bill for many years had a negative impact on her life.
Kate claimed that Russell was a wonderful fit, but knowing that their father was not committed to being present caused a void. The actress and her brother both agreed that their biological father abandoned them when they were children.
