That’s why a Mumsnet user was “shocked” when her daughter’s instructor urged her to “hold in” her menstruation.

According to the post, the 15-year-old’s instructor stopped her from using the restroom because he believes women can hold back period blood. Or he understands a little bit about biology, but chose to put her in a situation to be terribly shamed.

The mother then said that the classes lasted two hours; thus, the girl had a long wait before being able to replace her pad.

A few parents stated that the teacher was justified in saying no because students frequently lie about their periods to get out of class.

However, the majority of parents believe the instructor made a mistake and should be taught fundamental biology.

One commenter was outraged but totally correct about the matter.
