Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have split up, PEOPLE confirms.
The Oscar-winning actress, 58, and the country singer, 57, have separated, and a source tells PEOPLE exclusively, “Nicole’s sister [Antonia] has been a rock, and the entire Kidman family has come together to support one another.”
“She didn’t want this,” the insider said. “She has been fighting to save the marriage.”

TMZ was the first to announce the split, citing insiders who said the couple had been living apart since the beginning of the summer.
The longtime couple married in June 2006 and has two kids, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14. Kidman was previously married to Tom Cruise.
On June 25, Kidman posted an Instagram snapshot of herself cuddling up to Urban to honor their wedding anniversary. “Happy anniversary, baby ❤️ @KeithUrban,” she added.
Kidman, who recently finished filming Practical Magic 2 in London, posted “summer memories” on Instagram on August 19, featuring time spent with her kids and extended family. Urban has been on tour, with his next stop set for Thursday, October 2, in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
In April 2024, Kidman told PEOPLE about her “wonderful” familial support system, stating, “I’m thrilled that I have Keith, who is simply my love, my deep, deep love. That allows me to go do whatever I need to do since I know where I can return to.”
