Update on the search for a 9-year-old girl who went missing while camping with her family

A breaking news update on the hunt for a 9-year-old girl who went missing while riding her bike at a campground

Local police announced in a recent update that “Charlotte Sena has been located and is in good health.” While further information is not yet available, police have stated that they have a suspect in custody.

As previously reported, Sena was riding her bike alone at Moreau Lake State Park in Saratoga, New York, on Saturday night when she failed to return to the tent her parents had rented. An Amber Alert was issued around a half-hour after she was last seen.

At the time, police suspected Sena had been kidnapped and was in “imminent danger of serious harm and/or death.” Prior to the 9-year-old’s discovery, her aunt Jene told NBC News that Charlotte “disappeared almost into thin air.”

“I mean, it was minutes, minutes between when she was last seen and when she wasn’t there anymore.”

This is an ongoing report.
