This week, a story of the most incredible comeback I’ve ever seen received a lot of attention.

A teacher launched an evolution debate with a group of kids, including a 6-year-old girl, during a school session.

She approached one of the males in the class and had the following conversation with him:

Teacher: Do you see the tree outside, Tommy?

Tommy: Of course.

Teacher: Do you see the grass outside, Tommy?

Tommy: Of course.

Teacher: Go outside and look up at the sky to see if you can see it.

Tommy: All right. (He reappeared a minute later.) Yes, I did see the sky.

Teacher: Did you happen to see God?

NO, TOMMY.

TEACHER: That’s exactly my point. We cannot see God because he is not present. He isn’t real.

The young woman then raised her hand and gently asked permission to question the youngster. The teacher then gave the girl the go-ahead.

CHILD: Tommy, do you see the tree outside?

Tommy: Of course.

THE LITTLE GIRL: Do you see the grass outside, Tommy?

Tommy: Yes (weary of the inquiries by this point).

THE LITTLE GIRL: Did you notice the sky?

Tommy: Yes, yes, yes.

LITTLE GIRL: Do you see the instructor, Tommy?

Tommy: Of course.

THE LITTLE GIRL: Do you notice her brain?

NO, TOMMY.

Little Girl: Then, based on what we learned in school today, she must not have one!

LOL! That is absolutely wonderful! She demonstrated that she was a capable student.
