Netflix shares some exciting news for ‘The Witcher’ fans…

Although Liam Hemsworth has taken over as Geralt of Rivia in “The Witcher,” Netflix wants fans to know that Cavill will return for Season 3 of their smash fantasy series.

In a July 3, 2023 tweet from the show’s official Twitter account, billboards were seen plastered with the concise message: “Yes. In Season 3, he’s still Geralt.”

As of press time, the tweet had been read over 1.1 million times. It’s also infuriated Twitter users who are still upset over Cavill’s replacement.

“The fact that they have to remind people that he’s still on it just so they will tune in absolutely says it all about where this series is heading,” remarked a Twitter user called Gregson Arsenal. “What will they do for the next season?”

“I’d be more excited if it said he was RETURNING in season 4,” wrote Travis Thompson, another Twitter user.

Cavill said on October 30 through Instagram that he would not be resuming his role as Geralt after the third season of the program. Cavill also confirmed Hemsworth as his replacement in the same article.

A Netflix official told Insider that the firm had no more comment on the topic other than what was already known regarding the recasting.

Cavill and Hemsworth’s representatives did not immediately answer Insider’s requests for comment made after regular business hours.
