Susan Boyle, the British singing sensation, has disclosed that she suffered a mild stroke last year, putting her future performances in jeopardy.
According to the Daily Mirror, the 62-year-old, who rose to worldwide prominence after appearing on Britain’s Got Talent in 2009, returned to the hit program this year to sing alongside the ensemble of Les Misérables.
Boyle sang I Dreamed A Dream, the song she initially auditioned for all those years ago, to a standing ovation from the audience at the Eventim Apollo.

Nonetheless, it was after her on-stage escapades that she talked frankly about something that has received a lot of attention today.
Boyle explained her unusual withdrawal from the celebrity world to program presenters Ant and Dec, revealing that she had been dealing with a major health condition.
One of the interviewees stated after her performance:
“It’s hard to believe you were on this show 14 years ago, in 2009.”
“How does it feel to be back at BGT?”
“It feels great,” Boyle said. It’s fantastic.
“It’s extra special for me because I had a minor stroke there last April, and I thought it’d be crazy to be back on stage, but I did it.”

Following that, Judge Simon Cowell congratulated Susan, admitting that he was aware of her health issues.
Fans, on the other hand, did not. The 62-year-old singer is usually reserved when not singing, and her reason for disappearing last year had remained a mystery until her weekend revelation.
Despite her celebrity, Susan is said to still live at her childhood house in Blackburn, Scotland, which she acquired in 2010.
“It’s best to stay grounded and connected to your roots.” “It keeps you grounded and keeps you from saying things you shouldn’t say,” she said to OK!
