After his wife’s death, Patrick Duffy has lost weight and changed a lot

Patrick Duffy, famed for portraying Bobby Ewing in the iconic American TV series “Dallas,” has undergone a noticeable transformation, showing visible signs of aging and weight loss after facing challenges in the past year. Despite more than 25 years passing since the conclusion of “Dallas,” Duffy remains a beloved figure among fans for his memorable character.

Recently attending a film presentation in Beverly Hills, California, alongside fellow Dallas cast member Linda Gray, Duffy, now 69, appeared to carry the emotional weight of his wife’s passing a year ago, evident in his aged appearance and diminished physical stature.

Recognized as a sex symbol of the 1980s, Duffy warmly engaged with fans, signing autographs and maintaining his characteristic charm. Married to Carlyn Rosser since 1974, Duffy and Rosser had two children and four grandchildren.

Following rumors about his wife’s health, it was later revealed that Carlyn Rosser quietly passed away in the early months of 2017, prompting Duffy to share his grief on Twitter six months later.

In addition to dealing with the loss of his wife, Duffy faced a personal tragedy in 1986 when he discovered that his parents, Marie and Terence Duffy, were murdered on the premises of the Montana bar they operated. Perpetrators Kenneth Miller and Sean Wentz received 180-year sentences, with Miller released the following year after Wentz admitted to being the gunman.
