Tommy Lee Jones has two failed marriages, but one unique woman has finally stolen his heart…

Tommy Lee is an excellent actor, but some claim that he would not be where he is now if he hadn’t married Dawn Laurel-Jones, the love of his life, in 2001.

The well-known Texan, recognized for his appearances in films such as ‘The Fugitive,’ ‘JFK,’ and ‘Lincoln,’ met his future wife in 1995 while working on the same film production.

Three years later, in March 1998, Jones and Lauren Jones made their first public appearance together on the red carpet.

Jones’ close friend Al Gore launched The Climate Reality Project, which the pair has been strong advocates of. They went on an excursion to Antarctica with the organization in 2012, and Lauren Jones sold some of her adventure images at an auction in London.

“She took some stunning photos there. Of course, these images highlight the melting ice. They’re gorgeous photos. She sold 17, which raised a little more than $401,000 to benefit the charity that we are a member of,” the actress told The Independent.

The new husband and wife met for the first time on the set of ‘The Good Old Boys.’ Aside from appearing in the film, Jones made her TV directorial debut. Laurel-Jones was an assistant camera operator.

At the time, Jones was still married to his second wife, Kimberlea Cloughley, whom he divorced in 1996.

The pair eventually married in a private ceremony in March 2001 in Alamo Heights, Texas. According to The New Yorker, Laurel-Jones’ sister, Deborah, an architect, created the groom’s chambers in the couple’s home.

Jones had two children from his previous marriage to Cloughley, Austin, and Victoria; therefore, Laurel-Jones became their stepmother.

Interestingly, Jones and his wife are avid polo players, much like the royal family. He sponsored two teams in 2006, which included himself and his wife, six professional polo players, and nearly 50 horses!

The teams spent six months at Jones’ farm and stables in Florida, with Jones telling The Texas Monthly, “We are on top of our game. We can defeat anyone, anytime, anywhere.”

When Laurel Jones first started dating Jones, she had never played polo before. Jones stated his wife was “one of the best women polo players in the country,” even though “she didn’t even know how to ride a horse 10 years ago.”

The pair currently lives together on a historic cattle ranch in Texas with a history dating back over 150 years. However, they choose to keep their privacy. In 2006, Jones disclosed to the Texas Monthly that the gates remain closed. We keep it shut down. Only friends and family, no strangers. “Exactly how I like it.”

He went on to say, “In the summertime, we’ll tend cattle and then start playing polo at 7 p.m. We’ll play until approximately nine p.m., after which we’ll set the meat on fire and watch the darkness fall. It is a beneficial existence.” Everyone is happy.”

Additionally, Laurel-Jones and her husband divide their time between their Texas ranch and a 74-acre polo estate near Buenos Aires, Argentina. How luxurious!

Jones’ wife served as the on-set photographer for the film ‘The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada,’ which he directed and starred in.

It turned out to be a family endeavor since their then-14-year-old daughter Victoria appeared in the film. Jones did, however, confess that she overslept while shooting, which resulted in her termination. However, production workers covertly awakened her and rushed her to the set, ensuring she arrived on time for her role, which was unknown to Jones at the time.
