Father-Daughter’s amazing dance left people stunned!

Sidney Kimble West and her father, Sam West, realized their dream of performing alongside loved ones when they took the stage at the 2020 National SHAG Dance Championships.

Sam, a secret treasure in the dancing world, accompanied his daughter in a spellbinding rendition of Ben E. King’s “Stand By Me.” As the music began, their somber looks immediately changed to excitement, and they moved in perfect synchronization across the floor.

This was more than simply a dance; it was a celebration of their family’s passion for the arts. Sam started dancing at the age of 9, encouraged by his mother. During his scholastic years, he won two junior national titles alongside Terri Alberty.

Their performance was more than simply a showcase of their ability. It was a strong reminder that dancing, like family, can bring people closer together. “It was a dream come true to dance with my father,” Sidney added.
