Be aware while sitting on the toilet. Here’s why…

I’m sure the male readers will be filled with pity when they read about Thanat Tangtewanon’s tragic journey to the bathroom.

While most trips to the bathroom offer some welcome comfort and are only a few minutes away from a world that is constantly demanding your attention, a python hiding in his bog broke one man’s refuge when it bit him on the testicles.

Thanat, a Thai man, took to social media yesterday (20 August) to tell his traumatic experience with his testicles.

The father-of-one shared images and videos on social media of himself holding a 12-foot-long snake by its neck while blood splattered all over his bathroom floor and toilet bowl.

He claimed that he had gotten up around 10 a.m. and, as usual, flushed the toilet before using it to remove ‘any unwelcome surprises’, so when he parked his rear end on the potty, he assumed he was secure.

Unfortunately, Thanat soon ‘felt a severe ache’ in his testicles, indicating that something was biting his balls.

“I reached down, and to my horror, I grabbed a snake by the neck, with its fangs still sunk in,” the guy stated, before going on to describe how he armed himself with a toilet brush and battled the serpent that targets the testicles.

“I leaped up and swiftly tore it off.” I felt more astonishment than pain at the time.

“I gripped the snake’s neck strongly, attempting to drag it out of the toilet, but it was extremely powerful and would not budge.

“Panicking and furious, I spotted a toilet brush nearby and started whacking the snake as hard as I could.”

In the subsequent struggle, he hit his own hand a few times, but no man could blame him for the tenacity with which he protected his testicles, and when the snake eventually fell limp, he was able to withdraw its fangs from his balls.

After calling security to remove the now-dead Python, which was 12 feet long, he had a neighbor drive him to the hospital.

He said, “Fortunately, I am alright now, and in case you were wondering, my testicles are fine.

“It turned out to be a non-venomous Python. I got my blood checked yesterday, and everything seemed fine, but I’ll need another test today to be sure.

“I’ve got some wounds from the snake bite and from yanking it off, but nothing too serious.”

Monsoon rains in Thailand frequently push critters out of their hiding places, and Thai authorities warn residents to be cautious of snakes on the move during the rainy season.

One would hope that the story of a guy being bitten on the testicles would make men worldwide more aware of the risk of a snake hiding in their bathroom, waiting for a ball to bite.
