Many years ago, a reporter surprised Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston at a premiere, eliciting an incredible reaction from them. Back in 2011, Aniston and Sandler attended the Just Go With It premiere to celebrate their new film. Sandler acts in the romantic comedy as a cosmetic surgeon who persuades his assistant (Aniston) to pretend to be his ex-wife in order to hide a lie.
During the pair’s red carpet appearance, they ended up conversing with reporter Brad Blanks, who began questioning them about the film and how they collaborated. As other journalists started to interject and pose questions, Aniston abruptly diverted her attention, seemingly staring at Blanks with confusion. After a brief pause, the Friends star had to ask, “Why are you crouching?” Blanks squatted the whole time, but we didn’t notice because he looked the same height as the other reporters.
The interviewer commented that Blanks was ‘such a huge person’ and that standing up to his full height would obscure the camera’s attention on the celebrities. Now, it’s worth noting that Blanks stands 6’5”, something neither Sandler nor Aniston expected.
The horror on their faces was really comical, with Sandler exclaiming, “OH MY GOD, THAT’S AWFUL,” as Blanks got up from his kneeling position. Aniston, meanwhile, got wide-eyed with amazement and yelled, ‘That’s massive’, while Sandler gestured to a canopy over their heads and quipped that the interviewer should ‘put your hat on and get out of here’. Blanks apologized for scaring Aniston, while her co-star joked, ‘Don’t ever do that to Aniston,’ to the interviewer.
The couple then proceeded on down the red carpet, but the scene has always been memorable for fans. “Haha! Her eyes widen as he rises. That is funny. “I love Jennifer Aniston,” one individual wrote. Another person commented, “This is still one of my favorites of yours, Brad.” A third person commented, “I love Adam Sandler!” “His voice and personality are hilarious!” Additionally, a fourth individual expressed admiration for Jen’s assessment of the situation, stating that it reminded them of a skit. I laughed so hard at this reaction. “Another person described them as their ‘favorite duo,’ adding, ‘You always have to laugh when you hear Adam Sandler speak; he’s just a walking joke.’ Adam and Jennifer are my fave pair.”
