We know that the Got Talent programs produce some incredible acts, but few of them feature as many happy kids and convey such a powerful message.

The performance is called the Voices of Armed Forces Children Choir, and every one of the children has parents who are active duty members of the United Kingdom Armed Forces. Two of the elder choir members wrote the hymn “Welcome Home” during the Covid lockdowns.

“Our families were out on deployment, and we wanted to bring everyone in the Armed Forces together to be able to sing an anthem of Welcome Home,” stated a member of the song’s writers. They stated the song represented how they felt when their parents returned from deployment.
