10 of Anne Hathaway’s greatest and most daring outfits this year

Anne Hathaway is having a breakthrough.

Sure, the “Devil Wears Prada” star has at least two projects coming out in 2023. But, with the aid of her stylist, Erin Walsh, she’s also become a fashion it-girl this year.

These are the greatest and boldest outfits Hathaway has worn this year, from her corset coat at Sundance to her pinned-together gown at the Met Gala.

Anne Hathaway kicked off 2023 with a striking coat at the Sundance Film Festival.

Versace created her black corseted puffer coat, which she paired with transparent tights and $2,625 lace-up boots as a statement item.

She wore a tweed, sparkle-covered minidress with gold Versace hardware on the straps below.

When she went to Paris Fashion Week in January, her street style was equally crisp.

In a white sweater tucked into bell-bottom trousers, a navy-blue trench coat, and silver boots, Hathaway was seen on the streets of Paris, France.

She complemented her look with a Valentino tote bag, square eyeglasses, and a blue Breton hat.

Her most daring outfit of the week was a complete leopard-print ensemble.

Valentino’s crystal-covered leopard-pattern minidress was paired with dazzling tights and satin shoes in the same print.

Hathaway also wore diamond jewelry and carried a leopard-print handbag.

Later, the “Eileen” actress attended the Berlin Film Festival, where she tried out the “naked” fashion trend.

Valentino made her sleeveless dress out of brown mesh and embellished it with a leather bow overlay in the style of chainmail.

Long leather gloves, “no-makeup” cosmetics, and black shoes completed the daring outfit.

That week, Hathaway continued to show off her edgier side in a hooded black gown.

Hathaway wore head-to-toe Alaa, including a black, long-sleeved gown with a deep neckline, long sleeves, and a striking hood.

A ruched leather band around her waist and a big split in the middle of the skirt showed her transparent tights and striking sandals.

The shoes, which have gold heels shaped like legs, cost $1,750.

When she visited Versace’s exhibition in March, Hathaway could have been mistaken for a Versace model.

She was dressed in a snake-print mini dress with thin straps and a bubble skirt, revealing tights, and a pair of pointed Versace boots with gold buckles that cost $2,225.

Hathaway is accessorized with diamond bracelets and a choker, huge sunglasses, and a little pocketbook.

Her second appearance was more feminine but still daring.

She donned a strapless, tiny black dress that was adorned with fabric flowers from head to toe and fastened with a bow at the waist. Givenchy was the designer.

Not to mention the Bvlgari diamond necklace and bracelets she wore with the ensemble.

But it was also during the Bvlgari event in April that Hathaway began to incorporate more brilliant colors into her clothing.

She wore a purple minidress, matching tights, and purple platform heels to a press announcement for the inauguration of the Bvlgari Hotel Tokyo.

The tweed gown that Hathaway wore to the 2023 Met Gala was without a doubt one of her greatest looks of the year.

Her floor-length white gown was fastened together with gold safety pins — Versace’s characteristic hardware — and was adorned at the breast with two flower appliqués.

She accessorized with similar tweed gloves, platform shoes, and an over-the-shoulder jacket.

But she outdid herself again this week at a Bvlgari event in Venice, Italy.

She was dressed in a slinky, sleeveless Versace gown adorned with beads and crystals in jewel tones.

Mesh strips throughout the dress created a “naked” look, and the lengthy skirt was ripped with a daring, thigh-high split.

Hathaway finished the look with a bold Bvlgari necklace set with large pink sapphires.
