The 101-year-old grandma was overjoyed to finally see her grandson.
Despite the fact that she already has five grandkids, eight great-grandchildren, and six stepchildren,
It is common knowledge that grandparents and grandchildren get along better than everyone else.
This link strengthens with time and offers joy to parents and other family members.
The most essential thing is that grandparents recognize themselves in their grandkids and that their connection is a good balance of love, respect, and fun.
The photographs were taken when the elderly lady saw her great-granddaughter for the first time.
The infant was the family’s first grandchild in 75 years.

Gwen Smith, 101, saw Maeva, who was born on November 24, 2021, in her bedroom at the Dene Holm care home in Northfleet, Kent, Britain, on December 21, 2021.
The Smiths watched as Gwen held the lovely girl in her arms while several generations of her family were present.
Gwen fell in love with Maeva and couldn’t take her eyes off her.
“It was a one-of-a-kind event to have five generations there,” the Smiths remarked.

Because of the flu outbreak, the Smiths praised the care home workers for allowing them to visit.
Gwen turned 101 a few days later, in February 2022, and the Smiths stated she was thrilled and proud to welcome a new family member.
