35-year-old woman believes that a common lifestyle behavior led to her terminal cancer diagnosis…

A woman learned she had terminal breast cancer and believes her lifestyle was the cause.

Bisma Lalji received a dreadful cancer diagnosis in February 2023, despite feeling she had lived a healthy life.

Her diagnosis of stage four breast cancer, which had spread to her upper body bones, came when she was 35 years old.

Bisma’s vertebrae, ribs, and liver were all damaged by the spread, and she claimed that her main symptom before being diagnosed was a shooting ache in her back.

Tests revealed that the American’s severe cancer sprang from a one-centimeter tumor in her right breast.

The California native, now 37, announced on social media that she was pregnant before making a major choice concerning her health, explaining everything on Instagram.

Bisma is a physically strong lady who works in finance; yet, as her illness progressed, she embraced an unhealthy and stressful lifestyle.

This required a lot of coffee, all-nighters, and adrenaline, with her admitting that she was ‘barely stopping to eat, much less sleep.’

Bisma claimed in an Instagram post that her cancer diagnosis was the result of her hectic lifestyle, writing, “Chronic stress is a silent killer.” Chronic stress disrupts your hormone balance, weakens your immune system, and hinders your body’s natural healing process.

She went on to say that the human body needs sleep to recoup and reduce inflammation and that because she was ‘constantly in fight-or-flight mode,’ her cells couldn’t mend.

“Add a divorce into the mix, and the weight of my personal and professional life hit me like a ton of bricks,” she told me. But I kept pushing. I kept telling myself to relax ‘later.”

Bisma has recommended that people learn from her mistakes and, if they ever find themselves in a similar situation, take a break.

She said that she regretted not slowing down and refusing to listen to her body and that she would even gloat about not sleeping ‘like a medal of merit.’

She pleaded, “If you’re continually running on empty, please hear me: your health isn’t worth the effort.” If you don’t make time for your health, you’ll have to make time for your illness.”

She has now claimed that her health is stable as a result of a variety of targeted cancer medications, despite having previously discussed the situation on her YouTube channel. “So on top of, like, a stage four cancer diagnosis, if I want to live, I have to terminate my pregnancy.”

While Bisma cited stress as a component in her diagnosis, Cancer Research UK stated that there is no relationship between stress and cancer.

According to the official website, there is no compelling evidence that stress causes cancer based on human research.

Instead, stress can impair a person’s capacity to live a healthy lifestyle, altering daily behavior and increasing cancer risk through changes in these routines.

A Cancer Research UK study of 100,000 British women found no relationship between stress and cancer, although it did discover that stressed individuals were more likely to smoke, drink alcohol, and consume unhealthy foods.
