4 teenagers attempt to rob Texas Marine veteran and are met with immediate dose of karma…

A Marine veteran was standing outside his house when a bunch of teenagers approached him and attempted to rob him at gunpoint.

What occurred next shocked the teenagers. Alexander Borrego was outside his Houston, Texas, house when four male teenagers ambushed him, according to KPRC.

“One came alongside, through here, and the next thing I knew, I had a gun to the back of my head,” Borrego said. “They told me to get up, so I did. My garage door was open; therefore, my primary worry at the time was my family.”
Borrego was attacked while his wife and children were inside the house. However, the teenagers were unaware that Borrego was armed. He took action after a few minutes.

“I had a pistol in the front pouch of my hoodie,” he explained.

Borrego’s pistol already had one bullet in it. He was able to deactivate the safety before removing it, turning around, and firing at one of the assailants.

“My final thought before pulling the trigger was, ‘Don’t be the last one to fall. “Stay up as long as you possibly can,” he told KTRK. “The guy I hit dropped his gun when he was running,” Borrego explained.

Borrego allegedly shot the boy twice in the chest and once in the leg. All four suspects fled from Borrego’s residence to the residence of the teen who was shot. His mother drove him to a hospital nearby.

Arthur Chatham Jr., a neighborhood security officer, observed two of the kids running and pursued them.

“I encountered two of the suspects running in the neighborhood on the opposite side of the subdivision, detained them, got their information, and passed it on to the Harris County Sheriff’s Department,” Chatham said.

One suspect is still on the run; two were apprehended by Chatham; and a fourth was injured. Borrego will not face any charges in connection with the incident, according to police.

Following the attempted heist, Borrego’s wife posted on social media.

“You hear about stuff like this all the time, but you never think it would happen to you,” she wrote. “This could have turned out badly for my family and me, but I credit God, everyone watching over us, and Alexander Borrego for keeping them from coming inside. I am so proud of you, baby. #MyHero.”
