Six players on the Las Vegas Raiders roster have vowed to leave the organization if management contracts controversial quarterback Colin Kaepernick, according to a shocking disclosure that has sent shockwaves across the NFL world.
According to sources close to the matter, the six unnamed players are outspoken opponents of Kaepernick and his activism, specifically his choice to kneel during the national anthem in protest of police brutality.

“The players are dead set against bringing Kaepernick onto the team,” one insider claimed. “They believe his politics are divisive and that he is a distraction that will hurt the team’s chances of winning.”
According to the source, the players threatened to leave the squad if management rejected their preferences and hired Kaepernick anyway.
“The players feel very strongly about this,” the person continued. “They believe that Kaepernick’s actions are disrespectful to the flag and the military, and they don’t want him on their team.”
Fans and analysts have already expressed indignation, accusing the players of being bigoted and un-American.

“Football is a game that celebrates diversity and promotes unity,” one analyst stated. “The fact that these players are willing to quit over someone’s political beliefs is a disgrace to the sport and our country.”
Kaepernick, for his part, has kept mum on the topic, preferring to focus on his philanthropic activities and his continuing legal struggle with the NFL.
The issue, however, has created a big dilemma for the Raiders, who must now decide whether to sign Kaepernick and risk losing multiple important players or to placate their present squad and sacrifice the potential to add a good quarterback to their lineup.
“At the end of the day, it’s a decision that the team will have to make,” the insider explained. “However, it’s clear that this problem isn’t going away anytime soon.”
