The phrase “aging like fine wine” certainly applies to Hollywood great Harrison Ford. The actor who most notably portrayed Indiana Jones is still engaged in the profession and in the role 42 years later.

The newest installment of the well-known series debuted at the 76th annual Cannes Film Festival. The legendary actor attended a promotional news conference with the cast and crew of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.

James Mangold, a director, and Mads Mikkelsen, an actor, were on either side of Ford.

Ford answered a question from an anonymous female reporter who opened her query with the words, “Look, I think you’re still very hot.” Ford was surprised at the unexpected compliment after hearing this. The actor blinked slowly many times, as if he couldn’t believe the compliment. The reporter, on the other hand, continued.

“We were stunned to see you take off your shirt in the second scene, and you’ve still got it,” she continued. “How do you stay in shape?” “Can you ride a horse?” she inquired.

The star joked with the reporter before thanking God for not aging.

“Look, I’ve been blessed with this body,” he jokingly said. “Thanks for noticing.”

The Indiana Jones actor has had a busy week. He made a rare red carpet appearance with his wife, Calista Flockhart, at Cannes’ Palais des Festivals for the international premiere of his film Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.

The pair last walked the red carpet together in March 2018 at the Academy Awards. Of course, the pair appeared together since Ford was about to receive an honorary Palme d’Or at the Grand Theatre Lumiere.

After his career highlight reel was shown, the veteran actor earned a five-minute standing ovation and left the audience in fits of laughter.

“They say that before you die, you see your life flash before your eyes,” the actor remarked, “and I just saw my life flash before my eyes.”
