Nick Cannon explained why it is “healthier” for Mariah Carey and their children if they stay divorced

Nick Cannon discussed his rekindled romance with Mariah Carey on “The Jason Lee Show.”
Moroccan and Monroe, the couple’s twins, are the result of their eight-year marriage.
Cannon believes it is “healthier” for them to be apart rather than “recreate” their history.

Nick Cannon has stated that he has no plans to rekindle his romance with Mariah Carey.

After a brief romance, Carey and Cannon married in 2008 and welcomed twins Moroccan and Monroe in 2011.

However, the couple divorced in 2016, and since then, they have continued to co-parent their children while exploring other relationships.

On Wednesday’s broadcast of Revolt’s “The Jason Lee Show,” Cannon was questioned if he would ever rekindle his romance with Carey.

Cannon stated that he “never experienced that level of love from anyone,” but added, “That was over a decade ago, and we are like the best of friends now.”

“I think it would be too difficult with all of the craziness and shit I’ve accumulated.” I feel she is in a relationship and is content. “I don’t want to bother you,” Cannon explained.

“At the same time, I feel like this scenario is a lot healthier for all of us and for our children, which is the best thing and the thing that we both focus on.” Because if we were all living in one place, especially in this day and age, I believe the adversary would try to strike in a variety of ways.”

Cannon further stated that the ex-couple “never had an argument” after their divorce.

He also restated his past statements about not wanting to marry again.

“I speak so highly, but I no longer desire it, and that’s just because she’s moved on, and I’ve moved on several times, so now we can coexist the way we do,” the “Wild N Out” host explained.

“However, if I tried to recreate our previous love story, it would never be as good as it was.” We saw it, we experienced it, and in the grand scheme of things, these milliseconds that we operate in these molecules will allow us to convey that tale.”

Carey is presently dating Bryan Tanaka, a choreographer and creative director. Meanwhile, following his divorce from Carey, Cannon has had multiple relationships and fathered an additional ten children with five different women.

Cannon has talked highly of Carey and his affection for her throughout the previous year.

Last year, he released “Alone,” a song that sampled Carey’s classic “Love Takes Time,” in which he spoke about his feelings for her.

Cannon stated on “The Hot Tee Talk Show” in July that Carey was his “fantasy love.”

“But if I had the opportunity, if it could be the way it is, I’m there,” Cannon concluded.
