A courageous young man named Harley Lane lost his hands and legs as a result of a devastating disease, yet he continued to attend school and lead a regular life.

The Lane family resides in Stockport, a town in the United Kingdom. Harley was just three years old when he had meningitis and became quite unwell. His heart stopped three times, resulting in a total of four minutes of clinical death, and his parents were distraught.
However, Harley has a strong will and never gave up on himself, even when it appeared like there was no hope left. He was able to give thanks to God and the medical staff at Manchester Children’s Hospital, but his limbs had to be amputated because of complications from the sickness (sepsis).

When Harley regained consciousness, he saw that his physical appearance had altered, but he continued to see his parents sobbing with happiness that he was still alive and would live on.
Harley had to adjust to his new existence after being released from the hospital, learning to move without legs and using his new hands. He required years of rehabilitation, yet he never lost his curiosity, openness, or trust for other people.
When Harley was old enough to start school, his parents became quite worried and frequently discussed his education. They ultimately determined he should enroll in a regular school.

In spite of his early concerns about his classmates’ reactions, Harley rose to the top of his class, was adored by everybody, and many wanted to be his buddies. His confidence increased as a result of his popularity, and he eagerly anticipated going to school.

Harley, who is now almost 14 years old, still goes to school and acts like a typical youngster. For his bravery and tenacity in the face of illness, he was even given the “Pride of Britain” award, making him a genuine hero in his class.
Harley likes going to school, performs well in class, has plenty of friends, and lives a contented existence. Even though his parents had never been married, he was given the privilege of giving the ring at their nuptials.
