When Dad picks up his 6-year-old daughter from school, the teachers see his pants and become aware of the situation…

There is nothing we, as parents, would not do to make our children happy and comfortable. So when Ben Sowards, a husband and father from Utah, received a call from his 6-year-old daughter’s school reporting a toilet accident, he knew he had to bring her up immediately.

Ben was also aware that he needed to help his daughter Valerie feel better after the humiliation of wetting herself. That’s when a wonderful thought struck him.

Ben sprinkled some water on the crotch of his pants before getting in the car and driving to Valerie’s school. Ben said to the Huffington Post that the secret to helping his young child feel better was to make her giggle!

“Honestly, I knew she was mortified, but I thought if I could make her laugh, everything would be fine.”

This would undoubtedly work!

Ben asked to borrow Valerie’s backpack as soon as he came into the principal’s office. He discreetly told his daughter that he needed to conceal something. Valerie couldn’t see why her father needed to conceal anything at first!

When she looked down, she noticed his pants.

Ben told the Huffington Post that everything was OK until Valerie spotted his jeans. She felt at ease, rose up, and confidently walked out of the school.

“She was completely irritated. But when she saw my jeans, she gave me the smile that told me everything was OK. Every father recognizes the look I’m referring to. And we just walked out of the school as if nothing had happened.”

As a father, all Ben had to do was drive down to the school and pick up his daughter. Wetting his trousers was one extra step he took to ensure his sister wasn’t humiliated by what most youngsters go through.

More fathers like Ben are needed in the world!
