When girl was born, she weighed 1 pound. Now she looks amazing. PHOTO

This is the tale of Tru Wende Beare, an exceptionally brave child who was born 14 weeks early but survived and is now a true beauty.

Tru weighed only one pound and was the smallest infant doctors had ever seen when she was born. Unfortunately, Tru had to spend a significant amount of time in the hospital, where the specialists at Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster, Canada, tried all they could to save her life.

Her parents prayed to God, hoping for the best. They had a feeling their baby would live and couldn’t wait to hug her in their arms. Mom first got to hold her tiny bundle of joy after 11 days, and Dad didn’t get to hold her until she was 54 days old.

Tru was in an incubator for 71 days before being transferred to a crib. Her life began to improve with each passing day from that point on.

During her four months in the hospital, Baby Tru endured various hurdles and overcame a variety of ailments.

Imagine being diagnosed at such a young age with Necrotizing Enterocolitis, two blood clots, chronic lung disease, MRSA, retinopathy, two blood infections (including sepsis), a congenital heart defect, and seven blood transfusions. But, as it turned out, nothing was difficult for this small fighter who just wanted to survive and be with his parents.

Tru is now four years old and quite adorable. Who would have guessed this beauty weighed barely a pound when she was born? Most importantly, she is a big sister and a great inspiration to many. She is a living example that nothing is ever impossible and that the only option we have in life, no matter how difficult things become, is to never give up fighting.

We wish her a wonderful life and hope that she achieves whatever she sets her mind to. She has already proven that she is invincible, and we hope she maintains that mindset in the future.
