7-year-old boy selling lemonade couldn’t hold his tears back when police officer gave him amazing gift

Who doesn’t enjoy an old-fashioned lemonade stand?

On a bright sunny day, nothing beats stumbling across a youngster anxiously waiting to serve you a cup of ice-cold lemonade.

When a police officer approached Landen, a young child, he was selling lemonade and cookies close to his house. The boy’s grandmother recorded their meeting and posted it on Facebook.

“It’s just that we’re so quick to point out how BAD we are.”

Officer Perez of the Ansonia Police Department in Connecticut spoke with Landen and asked him what he planned to do with the money he made selling lemonade.

Landen stated that he needed to purchase blue sneakers for school.

Officer Perez left once the two had finished their talk.

Officer Perez returned to the seven-year-old lemonade stand a short time later, this time with a gift for Landen: a pair of blue sneakers.

To say the least, Landen was overjoyed.

“He made my baby’s day yesterday, and not only that, but he made him feel like a king,” Wendelyn Narvaez said of Officer Perez.

Narvaez later posted a photo of Landen wearing his new footwear.

Police like Perez, according to Ansonia Police Chief Wayne Williams, “are the types of officers that we are all looking to hire.”

It is absolutely correct. We frequently hear about the negative things that police officers do, but seldom about the good. This was such a kind gesture.
