The decision was made to go with a tree with spreading branches and a solid trunk. The home was finished a month later.

It turned out to be a real home with all the conveniences, not simply a children’s abode. Jay constructed three levels, each with a balcony.

A birch log staircase ran upwards, and it was possible to descend down a hill from top to bottom.

The tree grew through the house without any support. Every level had holes for branches, and every room had branches with leaves.

A loving granddad placed rocking chairs on the first floor and a sofa and hammocks on the top floor.

The view of the forest from the third level was breathtaking. There was a wicker table and seats on the second level where children could dine or drink juice.

Not only did the house astonish the youngsters, but it also surprised their parents. Nobody has ever had a tree home like this.

The entire family likes relaxing on the terrace with a cup of coffee.
