If you believe the Earth is flat, there are several sites I could direct you to, but since a picture is worth a thousand words, check out this selfie from the summit of Mount Everest.

Mount Everest, the world’s tallest mountain above sea level, will provide you with the finest view you can get while keeping your feet on the ground. If the sky isn’t cloudy,

With that in mind, the mountain is unquestionably one of the greatest spots to take photos, which will not only provide you with fantastic bragging rights but also a fairly decent scientific education on the structure of the Earth.

However, because not everyone can scale Mount Everest, I’ll utilize an existing selfie to demonstrate my point.

A climber took the picture at the mountain’s highest point, which is more than 8,848 meters high.

He took a selfie from all the way up there, using a high-angled camera for good measure, that clearly shows the earth bending into a spherical shape behind him.

Because this perspective of our world contradicts what some conspiracy theorists think about the curvature of the Earth, the image was later posted on Reddit with the caption, “Checkmate Flat Earth Society.”

As you can expect, it wasn’t long before others joined in on the poster’s sarcastic take on the Flat Earth hypothesis.

After seeing the picture on Reddit, one user commented, “I maintain that only about six people believe in a flat Earth.” Everyone else is just making fun of each other.”

Another said, “I’m all for a good conspiracy theory, but there are some, including the flat earth, that are just too much.”

Though the Earth’s demonstrated roundness drew a lot of attention, many people were unable to overlook the photo’s absolute condition of Mount Everest.

“Why does the summit of Everest look like a garbage dump?” wondered one.

The photograph depicts a plethora of colorful materials covering the mountain’s summit, as well as garbage left behind by past hikers.

According to National Geographic, the mountain has been called the “world’s highest garbage dump” because of the amount of waste that has been dumped there.

However, given its inconvenient location and up to 500 visitors each day during peak season, the summit of Mount Everest is unlikely to be cleaned up anytime soon.

So we may learn a lot from this selfie, the most essential of which is that we need to do better to keep our DEFINITELY ROUND Earth clean.
