Here’s how Supernatural star Mark Sheppard feels after six ‘massive’ heart attacks

Mark Sheppard of Supernatural has revealed how he was resurrected after having six massive’ heart attacks last week.

The actor, who has appeared in films such as In the Name of the Father and Megalodon, has praised his wife, Sarah Louise Fudge, for saving his life following a near-death experience on Friday (1 December).

The 59-year-old said he had a ‘widowmaker’ cardiac arrest, which occurs when the major coronary artery (the LAD) gets fully blocked.

After collapsing in his Los Angeles kitchen, Sheppard required four resuscitations.

The actor broke the news to his followers on Instagram, where he uploaded a snapshot of himself lying in a hospital bed at Providence St. Joseph, California, with many cardiac monitors attached to his chest.

Sheppard wrote to his 1.7 million followers on Saturday, December 2: “You’re not going to believe this! I fainted in my kitchen on my way to an appointment yesterday.

“I apparently had a 100 percent blockage in my LAD after six massive heart attacks and being brought back from the dead four times.” The Widowmaker.

“I wouldn’t be writing this if it weren’t for my wife, the @losangelesfiredepartment at Mullholland, and the incredible staff at @providencecalifornia St. Joseph’s.”

“My odds of survival were little to none. I’m in a wonderful mood. Once again, I was humbled. Tomorrow, I’ll be home! #spnfamily.”

Many of Sheppard’s co-stars have flocked to the post’s comment section to wish him well following his recent health crisis.

Misha Collins, the actor’s co-star, described his miraculous revival as “amazing,” stating, “Mark! You don’t always have to accomplish the most and largest! How many heart attacks have you had? Two or three would have sufficed. Okay, you’ve impressed us. Stop the healing and go back on the road with us. “I adore you, pal.”

Meanwhile, another follower commented, “OMG, Mark.” This is terrible! I’m pleased you’re recuperating! All my love to you and your family.”

“Jesus Christ… oh man, Sheppard, that’s way too close, man,” remarked a third. I hope you recover quickly and get back on your feet. “Look after yourself, brother.”

Sheppard married Fudge in August 2015, and they married again in November 2016 in Malibu, California.

Isabella Rose, the couple’s seven-year-old daughter, was born in March of that year, and she is frequently featured on the couple’s Instagram sites as they capture their lives.
