Judges get goosebumps from 10-year-old boy’s ‘All By Myself’ rendition

Celine Dion, widely regarded as one of the world’s exceptional singers, has inspired many, but few can come as close as 10-year-old Filipino boy Peter Rosalita. In his audition for America’s Got Talent, Peter takes on the challenging song “All By Myself,” popularized by Celine in 1996. The song, originally written and performed by Eric Carmen in 1975, reached #2 on Billboard’s Hot 100. Interestingly, it is based on the second movement (Adagio sostenuto) of Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor, Opus 18, composed around 1900–1901.

In the video, the pre-teen sensation delivers a mesmerizing performance, starting softly and gradually reaching incredible heights. His rendition leaves all four judges standing, with Simon commenting, “That was an incredible audition. There were parts during that audition that literally gave me goosebumps! You have an amazing voice, an amazing personality, and amazing energy.” Peter’s rendition of the challenging song is truly impressive and leaves a lasting impact on the judges and the audience.
