Four Louisiana police officers were on their regular shifts when they decided to grab dinner at Outback Steakhouse due to hunger. Little did they know, the manager and server had noticed their uniforms upon arrival and planned to leave a note for them on their receipt.
A kind gesture unfolded as a restaurant employee decided to express gratitude to their local law enforcement! The Outback Steakhouse in the neighborhood often serves as a dining spot for Slidell police officers, whether for lunch, dinner, or late-night meals. Manager Arline Wood speaks highly of the officers who frequent her establishment, describing them as “the cutest boys,” while server Zoe enjoys their company and appreciates their professionalism and respect.

On this particular evening, two employees decided to extend special attention to the four officers who had just finished their shifts. They decided to cover the officers’ bills as a token of appreciation. Server Zoe left a receipt with a brief message expressing gratitude, totaling approximately $67. This thoughtful act deeply touched the police officers, prompting them to generously tip Zoe in return.
The heartwarming incident didn’t go unnoticed, as the Slidell Police Department shared a photo of the receipt on their Facebook page, eliciting further encouraging comments. In response, the department expressed profound gratitude, stating that words couldn’t fully convey the emotions stirred by this gesture.
