A DOJ official believes that Jill Biden should face prosecution for ‘elder ab-se’

In January, Donald Trump selected Leo Terrell, a former civil rights attorney and current Fox News personality, for a crucial post at the Justice Department.

Now he’s making waves with a daring statement: Jill Biden should be prosecuted for “elder ab*se.”

This week, the political internet ignited after a top Department of Justice official openly called for former First Lady Jill Biden to face criminal prosecution, accusing her of “elder ab*se” over her husband’s secret health difficulties.

Leo Terrell, a 70-year-old former civil rights attorney turned Fox News pundit who now works as a senior advisor to the assistant attorney general for civil rights, made the shocking claim shortly after it was reported that former President Joe Biden has advanced prostate cancer.

Terrell responded bluntly to a post on X, stating that Jill Biden “knew about President Biden’s health problems” but “still wanted him to run for president.”

“Ab*se of the elderly!” Criminal charges??” he wrote, sparking a whirlwind of comments.

Terrell didn’t end there. He reposted other postings that echoed the charge, including one that read, “Elder ab*se is a form of domestic violence, and Dr. Biden has a lot of explaining to do about her part in defrauding the American people and taxpayers.”

In a subsequent post, the author said, “I would never wish Joe Biden physical harm despite my personal political views; too bad his own family compromised his well-being.”

Another scathing remark Terrell shared read, “His medical team should have spotted this years ago! Shame on Jill and everyone who turned their heads and disregarded this! They are absolutely guilty of elder ab*se, and if they force him to undergo any medical procedure now, such as radiation or chemotherapy, they should be shot! But they wanted the attention and prestige at any cost.”

The critique

The outcry comes after medical professionals and political insiders claimed that Biden’s disease went undiscovered—or hidden—for years. Some find such a situation difficult to believe.

“What I want to know is how Dr. Jill Biden missed stage five metastatic cancer, or is this yet another coverup???” Donald Trump Jr. posted this comment, contributing to the growing list of his opponents. It’s worth mentioning that Jill Biden holds a degree in education rather than medicine.

President Donald Trump weighed in, exacerbating the situation by asserting, “Someone is not providing accurate information.”

But detractors were not so polite in their response to Donald J. Trump’s insinuations, and they spent no time pointing out the ridiculousness.

One person said, “Jill Biden earned a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership from the University of Delaware. She has never claimed to be a doctor in the medical field.”

Another questioned the logic of the allegations: “Why would someone with a doctorate in education know about prostate cancer before medical professionals?”

And a third, plainly frustrated, didn’t hold back: “Probably because she’s a doctor of education and not an MD, you fucking imbecile!”

“How cruel and hateful.”

Following Leo Terrell’s startling charges against Jill Biden, emotions poured in quickly — and they weren’t exactly pleasing.

Critics swiftly reacted, challenging not just the logic of Terrell’s allegations but also the intentions underlying them. Many people considered his statements offensive and unjust, particularly given Jill Biden’s expertise in education rather than medicine.

“Some Trumper Republicans are harsh and spiteful, revealing their true nature. They have no shame. “Despicable,” one individual wrote.

“This is truly awful what the GOP is doing. What does cancer have to do with President Biden’s ability to run the country? And he isn’t any threat to them. Leave the family alone, and what a stupid idea of pointless accusations,” a third commented.

Biden’s yearly physicals from 2021 to 2025 contained no mention of prostate-specific antigen (PSA) testing, which is the standard test for identifying prostate cancer in males over 50. The American Cancer Society promotes these tests as an important early detection tool.

Following the diagnosis, President Biden broke his silence on X with a poignant statement and a photo of himself and Jill Biden with their cat Willow: “Cancer affects everyone. Jill and I, like so many of you, have discovered that we are most powerful at our darkest moments. Thank you for showing us love and support.”
