Following their victory against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday (February 11), the Kansas City Chiefs celebrated with a parade in Missouri on February 14. Unfortunately, the event turned tragic with reports of a shooting.
The Kansas City Fire Department confirmed one fatality and nine injuries, with five victims taken to The University Health Truman Medical Center.

The conditions of those injured remain unconfirmed. Police have detained two individuals as part of the ongoing investigation.
The shooting occurred near Union Station, prompting authorities to urge the public to leave the area for efficient victim treatment.

An earlier shooting near 27th and McGee streets resulted in two non-life-threatening injuries. Chiefs linebacker Drue Tranquill called for prayers, and many expressed shock and condolences.
Please join me in prayer for all the victims in this heinous act.
Pray that doctors & first responders would have steady hands & that all would experience full healing.

The parade drew around one million football fans and 600 law enforcement officials.
