A Swedish resident named Ruth Linnea Ingegaard Larsson, who is 103 years old, recently made it into the Guinness Book of World Records by jumping out of a plane while wearing a parachute.
While he was in the air, Larsson was listening to “Try Your Wings,” which was composed by a Swedish musician named Lasse Dahlqvist.
On the ground, her family had been waiting for her arrival. At the age of 90, Larsson started flying paragliders, and she made her first skydive when she was 102.
In addition to parachuting, the woman’s other interests right now include doing crossword puzzles and singing in the choir at her local church.
She is blessed with five children, 19 granddaughters, and 30 great-grandchildren, and she treasures the time she gets to spend with her extended family.
In 2019, a record that had been held by Katherine Hodges was beaten by a woman from Sweden.
At the age of 103 years and 129 days, the woman made her first jump. On the other side, Larrson had 103 years and 259 days under his belt at the time that the record was set.
Alfred Blaschke continues to hold the record for being the oldest man to successfully complete a parachute jump. He established a new benchmark in 2020, when he was 103 years old and 181 days old.
