Matt LeBlanc is best recognized for his role as Joey Tribbiani on the classic sitcom Friends, which aired from 1994 to 2004, but what about his subsequent career?
After Friends finished its tenth and final season, LeBlanc was the only member of the cast who consented to a spin-off called Joey.
It saw the charming character go to Los Angeles from New York, where all of his pals had begun their new lives, to pursue his acting career.
Before its cancellation, the comedy ran for two seasons, and many people are unaware of LeBlanc’s subsequent career.

While many people recognize him from his appearances in sitcom episodes or as the presenter of Top Gear in the 2010s, there is a significant gap between his time as Joey and his resurrection in the last 10 to 15 years.
His sabbatical was ultimately addressed in a newly viral TikTok video, which included recordings of LeBlanc on chat shows discussing what he was thinking.
The 57-year-old actor was first seen on the Scandinavian TV show Skavlan, when he explained, “My plan was to do 10 years of Friends, then two years of Joey, and then I said, ‘Right, I’m going to take a year off. I want to take a year off and just relax.
“I had such a nice time, I said, ‘I’m going to take another one,’ right? Then that one was much better. So I said, ‘Maybe one more!’ ” And then it turned into five or six years,” he said, laughing to himself.
The American actor later claimed that his ‘favorite thing in the world to do’ is just ‘nothing.’.
I am sure many of us can relate.
For the celebrity, who still expects to earn £16 million annually from Friends, it’s easier said than done.
He went on, “It’s so simple.
“There are no rules! What are you going to do today? I’ll tell you—nothing.” Pretty simple.”

Another TikTok video saw LeBlanc coming on Conan and advising the SNL alumni host, “I should be a professional nothing.” I suppose I would prefer to remain uninvolved. That is what I would like to do. Just nothing. Nothing. Zero.”
Conan stated that he needed to get something done, but the actor disagreed, explaining that while he may get up early some days, ‘it’s simply not having to go somewhere or someone else telling you what you have to do.'”.
Users on social media praised LeBlanc’s carefree attitude, with one writing, “I can identify. Matt LeBlanc truly resonates with me.
Another said, “If I had his money, I would do exactly the same,” while a third remarked, “He is Joey Tribbiani in real life, but with money.”
A different person commented, “It’s great to see someone who doesn’t care about gaining more and more celebrity.” Just chilling with his friends while checks roll in.”
