All emotional elements are evident in the Osbourne family’s attire as they pay their respects to Ozzy during his funeral

Ozzy Osbourne fans have highlighted the emotional references reflected in his family’s clothing during the Black Sabbath frontman’s burial procession.

A public funeral procession for Ozzy, affectionately known as the Prince of Darkness, is taking place in his hometown of Birmingham, with hundreds of fans gathered along the streets to pay their respects.

The renowned rocker passed away last week at his family home in Buckinghamshire, surrounded by love, after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.

His wife, Sharon Osbourne, along with many of his children—Kelly, Jack, Aimee, and Louis Osbourne—have been seen crying and reading messages from fans at memorials. Observers noted that the family was wearing items belonging to or associated with the heavy metal icon.

His family wore all poignant reminders of Ozzy Osbourne during the public funeral procession.

Kelly Osbourne’s Spectacles

Sharon and Ozzy’s youngest daughter was photographed wearing the rocker’s iconic round sunglasses, which have become a signature part of his wardrobe over the years.

According to NPR, Ozzy adopted these round spectacles, inspired by John Lennon, in the 1990s, making the look synonymous with his identity.

Sharon Osbourne Wore Ozzy’s Wedding Band Around Her Neck

Fans also noticed that his widow, Sharon, appeared to be wearing his wedding ring on a necklace around her neck.

“Sharon Osbourne wearing Ozzy’s wedding ring in a chain around her neck while mourning him,” remarked one fan on X, adding, “We love you, Shaz.”

Jack Osbourne’s Tie Pin

Jack, aged 39, was seen wearing a simple silver cross pin on his tie, a nod to the prominent silver cross pendants that have characterized the 76-year-old’s signature style for years.

Aimee Osbourne’s Brooch

Ozzy and Sharon’s oldest and lesser-known daughter, 41-year-old Aimee, also honored her father by wearing a bat brooch on her jacket.

Bats are a significant symbol in Ozzy Osbourne’s legacy; he famously bit the head off a bat during a performance in 1982, mistaking it for a toy thrown by a fan.

“Someone hurled a bat. I just assumed it was a rubber bat. And I grabbed it up and popped it in my mouth. I bit into it,” he recounts in his 2010 autobiography, I Am Ozzy.

Louis Osbourne’s Skull and Crossbones Tie

Louis Osbourne, Ozzy’s son from his previous marriage to Thelma Riley, was also present and appeared to pay tribute to his father by wearing a purple tie featuring a skull and crossbones design.

“Louis’s tie, Aimee’s brooch, Sharon’s necklace,” one admirer noted on social media.

“These little details are stunning. As much as he meant to each of us…”
