George Clooney and his wife, Amal Clooney, were caught wearing similar clothing and walking side by side while holding hands at a recent public event.
The celebrity pair were in Venice, Italy, ahead of the city’s 80th International Film Festival, which takes place on August 29. George looked sharp in a navy blue polo shirt and pastel blue pinstriped pants.

Amal, the Academy Award winner’s wife, shone in a white embroidered floral shift dress with stiletto heels and a navy blue clutch purse.
The couple was photographed spending quality time together before the event. They were photographed wearing sunglasses and smiling as they strolled.
George, who had one hand in his pocket, and his lovely wife Amal, a British-Lebanese attorney, are claimed to have perfected “Late Summer Couple Style” for their arrival in Venice.
Fans were impressed with the couple’s synchronized appearance and commented on social media, complimenting them on Instagram under the People account with the message, “Just here to remind you that George and Amal Clooney are the chicest.”
“Effortless chic,” one social media user on the platform said. Another person had similar feelings, stating, “Utterly chic. Meanwhile, a third person said, “Classy, elegant, intelligent, and accomplished.”
Despite their good looks, one admirer chastised George and Amal for strolling so close together while holding hands, saying they were too old to hold hands in public.
“He’s 62, and she’s 45. [..] Most couples married for more than a year, and especially older (over the age of 25) married couples, do not clasp arms and hands in public unless one is elderly and falling down. “They are aware that photographs will be taken,” added the social media user.
Despite this, a source close to the pair, who enjoy socializing with their pals, disclosed how things are going between them: “George and Amal are more in love than ever. They are unable to imagine their life with anybody else.”
The couple went on a date night supper at Ristorante Da Ivo while in Venice and dressed up for the occasion. Amal wore an emerald green gown, while her husband, George, wore a blue suit.
She and her husband went on a luxurious date night to Gatto Nero in July, and she donned a silver outfit. The pair had previously spent a romantic evening at the Grand Hotel Tremezzo.
Amal and George own a property in Lake Como, Italy, where they have spent the summer with their twins, Ella and Alexander, who are six years old. The couple married on September 27, 2014, and have been married for eight years, with their ninth wedding anniversary coming up next month.
