Arnold Schwarzenegger refused to give money to his kid after he graduated from college. His son speaks out about this decision…

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son, Joseph Baena, has spoken out against his father’s choice not to assist him in supporting his life after college.

Joseph is the son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Mildred Baena, the Schwarzenegger family’s former housekeeper.

The Terminator star had an affair with Joseph’s mother while married to Maria Shriver.

In his Netflix documentary, which debuted last year, the actor discussed lying about the affair and Joseph, as well as making everyone in his family suffer.

Arnold later helped Joseph pay for college, but the 26-year-old stated that his father, who is worth $1 billion according to Forbes, ceased financially supporting him once he finished.
He went on to explain how it affected him.

Joseph began fully getting to know his father in 2010, and after graduation, he followed in Arnold’s footsteps into the worlds of acting and fitness.

Joseph mentioned on the UNWAXED podcast in 2022 that he left college to support himself after Arnold pulled his money, leading him to choose a different job path.

He stated, “I’m incredibly glad that my father helped me go through college. But after college was over, it was simply like, “You go.” You’re on your own. I was like, ‘Oh, s**t’.”

Joseph continued, “So yeah, I needed a job, and I wasn’t getting any of the acting jobs that I thought I would get, but I was finally starting to get paid.”

“I was like, ‘I need to do something’, so I started interning at this real estate company.”

Arnie’s kid obtained a job at Los Angeles real estate business ARIA Properties, and he loved it more than he expected.

“I walked inside. “I was like, ‘I want to learn as much as I can while earning some money,'” he added. “And then I loved it and thought, ‘Oh, I believe I can do this fairly well’. So I received my license.”

Joseph appears to still work at the company, based on his Instagram feed.

Joseph first learned Arnold was his father when he was in high school.

In an interview with Men’s Health, he stated that he “remembers the day quite well’.

He recalled: “I was in eighth grade. fifth or sixth quarter. I receive a call to leave class. My mom is there, and she says, “We have to leave because everyone is finding out about you and who your father is.”

Despite the turbulence and Arnold’s decision not to help support his life, Joseph chose not to use the Schwarzenegger name.

He earlier told Inside Edition, “Well, I already have a last name, and I don’t have a problem with my last name.”

“I like my last name,” Joseph explained.
