Ashley Judd, an actor, has perimenopausal and postmenopausal women everywhere celebrating when she shared a video of herself playing in the water with the caption “WE DON’T CARE CLUB: BALTIC SEA EDITION.” As she plays in the water, she explains what she is doing and what it means to be a member of the We Don’t Care Club.
“Hi, I’m Ashley, and I’m a member of the We Don’t Care Club,” she says. “When I wear my swimsuit, I sometimes experience chafing in sensitive areas, so I apply cornstarch—a useful tip if you’re not familiar with it. If you notice any white residue from the cornstarch, I don’t care about that at all.”
Judd then goes on to do everything we used to do in the water as kids, when we didn’t care what others thought of us. Back flops. Head dunking. Hairstyles from beauty shops. Handstands. Belly flopping. And everything with great delight.
As she moves away from the camera, she comments, “Oh, I probably have cellulite.” I do not care. And I don’t mind that I’m hungry.”
The entire video is lovely, as Judd captures her inner kid and transports viewers back to their own childhood days spent playing in the water. People adored it.
“How many times I laughed out loud…This is great, and I really needed this chuckle today; thank you!!”
“Oh, gosh! I totally forgot about the hair problem. Thank you for reminding me; now I will have to do it. It may be in the shower, but you know what? We do not care.”
Can I join the club? I am not yet perimenopausal or postmenopausal. But I don’t care, and I actually make things up.”
“This is the finest side of Ashley that I’ve ever seen! She’s developing into a lady who is confident in her own skin and not hesitant to express her thoughts! I want to join both of her clubs! “You go, Ashley!”
“Thank you for sharing your story, Ashley. It’s amazing to see. I’ve joined the IDC club, and it’s fantastic.”

As Judd pointed out, influencer Melani Sanders formed the We Don’t Care Club, and her viral article struck a chord with middle-aged women ready to join.
Sanders refers to the group as WDNC (We Do Not Care), which has exploded and spread over social media in just a few months.
“The beauty of the WDNC is all of the positivity that flows throughout all of our platforms,” Sanders stated in a video. She describes it as a sisterhood for menopausal women.
“Watching my sisters create chapters and put the world on notice that we simply do not care much anymore makes my heart smile,” according to her. “Look at all of the positive energy and love that has been offered. My sisters and I are at full capacity. We’re exhausted. We’ve discovered a location where there is no division or condemnation. Everyone is embraced and cherished, regardless of ethnicity, religion, financial situation, or pocketbook brand. The only prerequisite is that you have a she-shed.

People sometimes bemoan becoming older, yet one of the benefits of aging is that you no longer care about things that used to bother you when you were younger. Bad hair day? I don’t care. Bulging out of your swimsuit in places? I don’t care. Are others judging you for what you’re wearing, saying, doing, or feeling? I don’t care. It’s a wonderful club to belong to, with its lack of anxiety and the space it creates for amazement.
