Following her recent public appearances, many believe Donatella Versace has undergone cosmetic surgery. Some have gone so far as to suggest she looks better than she ever has.
Donatella Versace, 69, wore a dazzling outfit to the global premiere of “The Devil Wears Prada: The Musical” in London on December 1. While Versace’s dress was definitely eye-catching, it was her face that drew the most attention from social media users, who were amazed at how different her features were from prior years.
The world-renowned Italian fashion designer graced the show business event in a sparkling gold and somewhat translucent outfit that ended above her knees. She wore a long-sleeved shirt adorned with bedazzled fringe tassels.
Versace wore a black strapless corset under her dress, which she teamed with see-through black stockings. She elevated her look with brown platform boots, gold hanging earrings, a stunning bracelet, and gold rings.
Versace finished the look by letting her blonde hair fall in free waves over her shoulders and back and applying little makeup to her face.
She attended a musical based on Lauren Weisberger’s bestselling book and the iconic film “The Devil Wears Prada.” The story follows Andy, a recent college graduate, as she enters the world of “Runway” magazine and begins working for the renowned fashion designer Miranda Priestley.
“As she becomes increasingly engrossed in the seduction of high fashion, Andy must reconsider her morals. How far is she willing to go for success? The ticket website’s description states, “Discover the captivating narrative of ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ musical in London’s Dominion Theatre.”
Legendary actress Vanessa Williams plays Priestley, while iconic artist Sir Elton John composes the music. Directed by Jerry Mitchell, the musical promises “an evening filled with humor, fashion, and poignant life lessons.”

Tickets are on sale starting at $38.06 (£30). So far, the drama-comedy, which runs until May 31, 2025, has garnered a rating of 4.45/5 stars and multiple excellent reviews from those who have watched it.
Aside from Versace, Williams, and John, other notable attendees were Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, TV personality Michelle Visage, and famed model Elizabeth Hurley, to mention a few. The show they went to was a charity banquet for the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

Some of the internet users who saw photographs of Versace used social media to remark on her beauty, particularly her face. “I love Donatella’s new look!” commended a user on X.
An X user supplemented their remark with a GIF of famed actress Anne Hathaway (who portrayed Andy in the film adaptation of the novel) toasting with a glass of champagne and added, “Whoever did Donatella’s new face.”
Looking back at some older photos of the 69-year-old, one may notice differences in her facial features as recently as last year. Anyway, we think that it is her face and she can do whatever she wants, without harming her health. One thing we can say is that we love her anyway!
