Ben Affleck attended the Red Sox game at Fenway Park with his kids and her ex, which surprised their fans

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are spending the summer together as a family.

On Friday, July 11, the Accountant 2 star, 52, and the Deadpool & Wolverine actress, 53, were sighted at Fenway Park to watch the Boston Red Sox play the Tampa Bay Rays.

The former couple’s children, including Seraphina Rose Elizabeth Affleck, 16, and Samuel Affleck, 13, attended the game night. Violet Anne Affleck, 19, Affleck and Garner’s eldest child, did not attend.

NESN cameras spotted the family sitting in the front row of the famous stadium. Affleck, wearing a green Red Sox cap, and Garner sat between Seraphina and Samuel.

“That is a great Red Sox family right there: Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner, and their kids,” observed NESN analyst Dave O’Brien as the cameras focused on them during their trip.

The Argo actor and the Daredevil actress were deep in discussion when Affleck appeared to realize the spotlight on them and pushed Garner, who smiled in the direction of the camera seconds later.

Affleck and Garner were married from 2005 till 2018. After they divorced, he married Jennifer Lopez in 2022. Affleck and Lopez eventually divorced in 2025.

Affleck and the Maid in Manhattan actor, 55, met on the set of their 2002 film Gigli, which was released the following year. Lopez was married at the time, but following the divorce, she told Diane Sawyer in a November 2002 interview that she and Affleck were engaged. They ended their romance in January 2004.

Lopez and Affleck did not have children together, although she is the mother to 17-year-old twins Maximilian “Max” David Muniz and Emme Maribel Muniz, whom she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony.

Garner, the Alias actress, has been dating businessman John Miller since 2018, and the couple has kept their long-term relationship out of the public eye ever since.

On June 22, at the 67 Strong: Jen Garner’s Final Mile 4 Kids charity event in Santa Monica, California, the couple last shared a kiss. Miller has two children with his ex-wife Caroline Campbell, from whom he filed for divorce in 2011.

A source told PEOPLE in February 2023 that the couple had been back together for a year after they “took a long break from dating.”

Things continued to improve for the couple, and in December 2024, a source told PEOPLE that Garner was “very happy with” her relationship.

Meanwhile, the Red Sox defeated the Rays 5-4 to extend their eight-game winning run.
