This is what Brad Pitt allegedly said to his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston shortly before their well-known split.
Someone reportedly claimed that Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston were the prettiest pair in Hollywood. Following their wedding in 2000, the pair appeared to have it all: beautiful looks, a lot of money, and successful film careers. Pitt and Aniston also appeared unexpectedly in Friends’ Thanksgiving episode “The One with the Rumor.”
Pitt and Aniston appeared to have everything they wanted, until they didn’t. The A-list power couple’s romance ended abruptly in January 2005, when they announced their breakup in a joint statement. “After seven years together, we would like to announce that we have decided to formally separate,” according to a statement.
We want those of you who are still with us to know that tabloid rumors did not cause our breakup.
We reached this decision after a lot of deliberation. We are pleased to remain sincere friends who care for, love, and respect one another.
Things appeared to be going well between the two for a time until a stunning revelation sparked a major division among the star’s followers. Angelina Jolie is, of course, the person in the room.
Pitt and Jolie appeared in the action-comedy Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2003). The summer film was released after his and Aniston’s divorce, and they seemed to get along while filming.
Pitt and Jolie eventually made their romance public, married in 2014, had six children, and divorced two years later. Although there is no evidence that Pitt cheated on Aniston with Jolie, the abrupt conclusion to their relationship caused many to assume he did, resulting in the famous “Team Jen vs. Team Jolie” controversy.
When these charges surfaced, Aniston refused to discuss them, but Courteney Cox, who plays Aniston on Friends, revealed that she was aware of what was going on between her then-husband and Jolie.
Vanity Fair spoke with Cox, who stated, “I don’t think he started an affair physically, but I think he was drawn to her.”
“They were interested in each other, and he told Jen about it.” People usually disguise their attraction to someone.
“At least he revealed the truth.” She clarified, “It was an attraction he fought for a while.”
In 2015, Aniston discussed the fan-made tournament. She told Entertainment Tonight, “I think it’s time people stopped that petty BS and just started recognizing great work.” “I think that is slowly ending.” I truly do. It’s simply dull and old. It resembles a worn-out leather shoe.”Let’s get some new shoes that shine.”
