Brandon Miller, real estate mogul, dies suddenly. Details revealed

Brandon Miller, a real estate entrepreneur, died in July after being found comatose in his car at his Hamptons house due to probable carbon monoxide poisoning, according to PEOPLE.

According to an incident report from the Southampton Fire Department, first responders discovered the 43-year-old husband of Mama & Tata influencer and lifestyle blogger Candice Miller late on June 20, after a carbon monoxide detector in the residence alerted them.

The report said that Brandon did not have a pulse at the time.

The New York Times reports that he passed away on July 3 after the hospital put him on life support.

The Times, citing law enforcement sources, said that Brandon committed himself and left a note for his family.

According to the article, Brandon had been dealing with significant financial difficulties, including millions in debts and mortgages, as well as life insurance policies.

According to a Miller family spokesman, Candice was “devastated by the loss of her soul mate, and her two young daughters’ lives are forever impacted by the loss of their beloved daddy.”

Maurley Miller, Brandon’s sister, also told the Times that she had a “hole in my heart that will never be filled.” “I am devastated.”

(The family did not reply to PEOPLE’s requests for comment, and Suffolk County Police did not provide more information. A spokeswoman for the county’s medical examiner’s office declined to comment on the deceased.

Brandon and Candice met as children and married in 2009, according to E! News. They have two children.

Candice expressed her love for her husband and girls in a 2019 interview with Mini Magazine, where she discussed what “a typical day” would be like managing business and family.

“On most days, what I look forward to is arriving home and sitting for dinners with my husband and my girls, followed by some very yummy snuggles before bedtime, where we all profess our love for one another over and over again,” she told me at the time.

Candice and her sister Jenna Crespi maintained a lifestyle website; however, it no longer appears to be operating following Brandon’s death.

Brandon was a managing partner at Real Estate Equities Corporation (REEC), where he joined in 2004 as head of the acquisitions and finance department, according to the company’s website.

“Before joining REEC, he worked in the commercial real estate business at Dillion Read Capital Management. During this period, Brandon originated over $1 billion in commercial real estate loans,” according to an archived article on the website.
