Britney Spears will receive her lone wish this year!
The 43-year-old pop queen confessed in an Instagram post on Wednesday, Dec. 25, that she experienced “tears of joy” when enjoying Christmas with her younger son Jayden James, adding that she hadn’t seen him in “two years.”
The tape captured their heartwarming reunion. In the video, Jayden says “hello” to the camera while standing next to his mother, who introduces him to her followers by adding, “This is my baby.” In addition, the pop star kissed his cheek.
The video then transitioned to the mother-son duo in front of a Christmas tree, with Spears, dressed in a red off-the-shoulder dress, wishing fans a “Merry Christmas.”
The 18-year-old followed suit, exclaiming, “Merry Christmas!” before the camera pans to the right to reveal a fireplace.

Spears captioned the image with the words “Best Christmas of my life!” “I haven’t seen my boys in two years!”
“Every day, I am literally in a state of shock and tears of joy, and I am so in love and blessed,” she shared with me. “I’m speechless. Thank you, Jesus!!!”
The “Lucky” singer has two children, Jayden and Sean Preston, 19, with her ex-husband Kevin Federline, from whom she filed for divorce in 2006 after three years of marriage.
They have had various custody agreements since their formal divorce in July 2007, with the boys most recently living with their father, with whom they will relocate to Hawaii in 2023. Spears “consented” to the relocation, Federline’s lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan told PEOPLE at the time.
Another source told PEOPLE that the former dancer asked his ex-wife for permission to move earlier that month.
“Britney has always faithfully supported her children and wants them to be happy,” a source told me.
After a year in Hawaii, Jayden rejoined his mother in Los Angeles last month, according to a source, and the two have been spending time together at her house.
“Spending time together has made her happy,” a source told PEOPLE.
While appearing on the cover of PEOPLE in October 2023 to promote her novel The Woman in Me, the pop diva described parenthood as a “dream.”
She stated when parenting her sons, “Starting a family was my dream come true. “Being a mother was my dream come true.”
Preston and Jayden frequently joined their mother on tour and visited her during her Las Vegas residency.
In 2021, Spears stated on Instagram, “I had my babies very young…” Every time we went on an excursion to a pool, the babies gravitated towards me because I always carried the most toys. “I truly am a baby mama 😜😜😜!!!!”
