Brittany Mahomes responds to Chiefs haters following the team’s Super Bowl success

Brittany Mahomes has a message for the Chiefs haters. Following her husband Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs’ AFC Championship victory on Sunday, the 28-year-old KC Current owner took to social media to address the naysayers.

In an Instagram story, Brittany shared a photo of herself and Patrick from the post-game celebration, originally posted on his account. She wrote, “We went there. We won. Anyone have anything else to say?” accompanied by a smiling emoji.

As the mother-of-two, Brittany, who shares daughter Sterling Skye and son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes with Patrick, added, “See y’all in Vegas,” reminding the digital trolls that her husband will play in his fourth Super Bowl in six years as Kansas City’s quarterback.

In her subsequent story, Brittany expressed her immense pride, writing, “Just so incredibly proud of this guy,” over a photo of her and Patrick celebrating the Chiefs’ upcoming Super Bowl appearance on Sunday.

Brittany, being the wife of one of the NFL’s biggest stars, is no stranger to social media trolls and has addressed negativity before. In December, she called out “rude” people on social media after noticing an increase in mean-spirited comments during the NFL season.

Reflecting on the negative attention during a Q&A in August, Brittany shared that it no longer bothers her. Responding to a follower who asked if negative comments affect her, she stated, “It used to, yes. But not anymore. I could give two s—s about people’s opinion of me that don’t even know me,” adding a peace sign emoji.

Regarding the emotional toll of Patrick being away frequently, Brittany acknowledged the challenges but emphasized their appreciation for his hard work. She stated, “Not easy but it is what it is. You learn and adapt as you go! He works hard and we are very appreciative of everything he does for our family.”

The couple will celebrate their second wedding anniversary in March. Brittany and Patrick got married in Hawaii in 2022 following their initial engagement in September 2020. They first met while attending Whitehouse High School in Whitehouse, Texas.
